Elaina Giolando, Williamsville SOUTH High School, Class of 2007
Elaina Giolando is a Personal Transformation and Business Coach who helps professionals and entrepreneurs integrate the most effective personal growth and healing methods into their daily lives in order to be successful. She is a former Fortune 100 management consultant and international team manager for major global companies, and has traveled to more than 60 countries working with CEO’s and heads of state all over the world including Ethiopia, Mongolia, Mexico and South Africa.
After graduating from Williamsville South, Ms. Giolando attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on full scholarship, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. While at UNC, she was selected as a Phillips Ambassador, winning a scholarship to study a semester abroad in Asia. She also earned fellowships as an undergraduate to study in Cairo, Egypt, Singapore, and Guatemala. As a new college graduate, she joined IBM’s Consulting by Degrees program, an elite management development program, and later worked for ASAP Worldwide, a global media company based in Spain. She also worked as an in-field project coordinator for Uber’s global mapping program in Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.
As she developed her global business acumen, Ms. Giolando also founded a consulting company to help others align their lives with meaning, purpose and adventure. She has transitioned her passion into a full-time career, bridging the corporate and spiritual worlds to help people see their blind spots and make the changes needed in order to reach their goals in life and business. Her newest business adventure is called Trips Unscripted that promotes independent, off-the-beaten-path travel.
Ms. Giolando’s work has been featured in Fortune, BusinessInsider, and The Huffington Postamong other digital media outlets. She currently lives in Bali, Indonesia.
