Michael Joseph is President of Clover Management, a large real estate development and management company in Western New York.  He is also President of Clover Construction Management, Inc., a full-service construction company that specializes in multi-family construction. Since taking the helm in 1989, Mr. Joseph has purchased and/or developed residential and commercial properties totaling more than $500 million in Western New York and in select markets across the nation.

As a high school student, Mr. Joseph attended Williamsville North for two years and then moved to Williamsville East when it opened in 1975. After graduating, he went to the State University of New York at Binghamton, initially setting his sights on becoming a doctor. He started a small carpet cleaning business to help pay for college and with its success, soon realized that he was better suited for business than medicine. He went on to earn a degree in economics at Binghamton and an MBA in finance at Boston University in 1982. Wall Street beckoned and he landed in New York for seven years where he honed his skills in real estate financing and investment before returning to Buffalo to run Clover Management.

Since his return to Western New York, Mr. Joseph has been a vital part of the community, dedicating himself to philanthropic and societal causes. He has taken on leadership roles in many bedrock institutions including Roswel Park Cancer Institute where he currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is also President of the Board of Directors of Elmwood Franklin School. Other local boards he serves on currently or has in the past include the Jewish Federation of Western New York; the Buffalo Seminary; the University at Buffalo Foundation; the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra; and the Foundation for Jewish Philanthropies.

Mr. Joseph, his wife, Roberta, and daughters Allison and Jordan make their home in Williamsville.
