Kevin Leman, PhD.

Kevin Leman, PhD. (‘61) – Dr. Kevin Leman is an internationally known psychologist, author, radio and television personality, and speaker. The best-selling “relationship doctor” has made house calls for programs including Oprah, CBS’ The Early Show, Live with Regis, Today, The View with Barbara Walters, and has served as a consulting family psychologist to Good Morning America.

Dr. Leman has authored 21 books, including best sellers such as “The New Birth Order Book”, “Making Children Mind Without Losing Yours”, “Bringing Up Kids Without Tearing Them Down”, and “Keeping Your Family Together When the World is Falling Apart”. He is co-founder of realFamilies.com and is also the founder and president of “Couples of Promise”, an organization designed and committed to helping couples remain happily married. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, American Federation of Radio and Television Artists, National Register of Health Services Providers in Psychology, and the North American Society of Adlerian Psychology.

Dr. Leman received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arizona, where he later earned his master’s and doctorate degrees. He resides in Tucson with his wife, Sande, and their five children but spends time back in Western New York at a summer home on Chautauqua Lake.
