Daniel T. Mank, 1981 – Daniel Mank is the founder and president of ZITEC, Inc., a multi-million dollar company located in Florida that designs and manufactures munitions and aircraft support equipment. A major defense contractor, Mr. Mank is considered to be an expert in munitions and weapon support including bomb and missile handling, electronic testing and power equipment.
After graduating from North, Dan enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served for 21 distinguished years earning multiple commendations for meritorious service. While stationed in Hawaii, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hawaii Pacific University, graduating summa cum laude. His final position with the Air Force was as Superintendent, Munitions Material Handling Equipment Focal Point at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
Dan retired from the Air Force in 2002. In 2003, he was named Florida’s Businessman of the Year by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Business Advisory Council. Shortly thereafter, Dan was appointed to the Business Advisory Council, serving the State of Florida where he helps ensure small business has a voice in Washington. He resides with his wife Tracy and their family in Niceville, Florida.
