Ronald Markezich (1985) has been a senior executive at Microsoft Corporation since 1998. Currently, Ron is Vice President of Business Online Services. As the leader of the Business Online Services Division, Ron is responsible for delivering innovative, Internet based solutions to Microsoft's business customers. Prior to Ron's current role, he was Chief Information Officer for Microsoft. As CIO, Ron was responsible for Microsoft's information technology functions and was the final sign-off for products that ship to business customers.

Markezich is a highly sought-after speaker on topics related to his more than 18 years of experience atop the pinnacle of the Information Technology industry. Under his leadership, Microsoft has received numerous awards, including the CFO Magazine Best in Finance, the Alexander Hamilton Award for Technology, and the Primus Luminary Award. Before joining Microsoft, Markezich was at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) in the Electronics and High Tech Group. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame, where he was an All-American cross country runner and captain of the track and field team.

At Williamsville North, Ron was Sophomore class president; Junior and Senior class historian and was a member of the National Honor Society. He was captain of the track and field and cross country teams, and was a member of the swim team. In high school, Ron was the New York State champion in cross country and the one-mile. He also competed and won in the Empire State Games multiple times and still holds the state record for eighth graders in the steeplechase.

Ron and his wife Debbie have four children and reside in Woodinville, Washington where he is on the Board of SightLife, a non-profit organization that helps people needing cornea transplants.
