Trey Measer ('68) is president and publisher of Bee Publications, Inc., which publishes weekly newspapers in nine Western New York towns. He is a member of the New York Press Service Board of Directors and a Director-at-large and past president of the New York Press Association. After graduating from South, Measer attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1972.
A community leader, Measer has made a life-long commitment to his hometown, serving as a member and an officer in many community, business and professional organizations including: the Williamsville Fire Department Hutchinson Hose Company; Village of Williamsville Planning & Architectural Review Board; Town of Amherst Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee; Amherst Symphony Orchestra; Village Preservation Foundation, Inc.; and founding member of the Williamsville Business Association, Inc.
In addition, Measer has served on the Citizen's Advisory Council for the Erie Community College North Campus; the Operating Board of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital; on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce; and the Community Advisory Committee of the Village of Williamsville. He is also a former Boy Scout Leader and Eagle Scout.
