Sujata Yalamanchili is a partner at the law firm of Hodgson Russ, Buffalo’s largest law firm and one of the 200 largest law firms in the United States. Her areas of practice include corporate real estate, commercial leasing, real estate development, and finance.

As a student at Williamsville East, Ms. Yalamanchili was active in the Latin and French Clubs. After graduating from high school a year early, she attended the State University of New York at Buffalo earning her bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in 1988 and an MBA in 1989. She went on to Cornell Law School, graduating in 1993.

Ms. Yalamanchili currently serves as a member of the boards of directors of Summit Educational Resources and the Western New York Women’s Foundation; a trustee of the Theodore Roosevel Inaugural Site Foundation; a member of the board of directors of the University at Buffalo School of Management Alumni Association, where she previously served as president; and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council of the University at Buffalo School of Management. She is a past chair of the Amherst Youth Board and a founding member of the Amherst Conservation, Recreation, and Parks Foundation. 

In addition to being a proud Williamsville graduate, Ms. Yalamanchili is also a proud Williamsville parent.  She and her husband, Kent Roberts, have three children attending school in the district with sons Kathan and Bhaskar at Williamsville North High School, and daughter Ariya at Casey Middle School.
